Pay-Per-Click Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Vizion Interactive is a rapidly growing Interactive marketing agency in the Dallas area. Vizion Interactive’s clients include many well-known brands, including InterCall, Lennox, and Palm Harbor Homes.

Position Description:

We are actively seeking a full-time Pay-Per-Click Search Engine Marketing Specialist who is a self-motivated, entrepreneurial, outgoing individual with a minimum of 2 years of direct working experience in pay-per-click campaign management. Core job responsibilities include:

  • Conduct keyword research and selection for pay-per-click campaigns.
  • Create and maintain project plans to update clients on status of campaigns.
  • Proactively make strategic campaign recommendations to clients.
  • Utilize bid management tools and data modeling to maximize the effectiveness of PPC campaigns.
  • Compose and test ad copy to produce optimal click-through rates.
  • Monitor campaign results, analyze key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates.
  • Generate and deliver performance reports to clients on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships through face-to-face meetings, frequent conference calls, and presentations.
  • Manage client budgets to ensure proper allocation in accordance with campaign contract terms and project goals.
  • Exceed client expectations and performance goals on a daily basis.
  • Stay current with new tools as they come to market.
  • Collaborate with Search Engine Optimization team to ensure smooth translation of learnings from PPC to SEO.
  • Collaborate with Design team on landing page design needs for client projects.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience managing pay-per-click campaigns.
  • Bachelors degree with interest or emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, computer science, or related field.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
  • Experience with keyword research, keyword research tools, and keyword selection.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Advanced knowledge of web analytics programs including WebTrends, Index Tools, Omniture, Hitbox, ClickTracks and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Experience managing shopping comparison engines is a plus.
  • Industry experience in online retail, financial services, or hospitality is a plus.
