Palm Harbor Homes is national leader in manufactured homes. They build, sell, finance, and insure premium manufactured and modular homes. Palm Harbor Homes selected Vizion Interactive to provide organic search engine optimization and consultation on site redesign and development.

To redevelop and design the website to be optimized for search in order to drive more targeted traffic to the site.

Solution

Next, Vizion Interactive consulted with Palm Harbor’s internal web design and development team on how to select a content management system and how to design/develop a search engine friendly website.

During web design and development, Vizion Interactive consulted with a Palm Harbor copywriter on the creation of search engine optimized content.

Vizion Interactive helped Palm Harbor to ensure that every legacy page was properly redirected to the appropriate new URL, so that current rankings were not lost. Next, Vizion Interactive optimized each page of the website.

Measuring January to May 2006 versus the same period in 2007 and using Palm Harbor’s average cost per click from paid search campaigns as the gauge, Vizion Interactive drove $11 million worth of new organic search traffic to the Palm Harbor website during these five months alone.
