Mark founded Vizion Interactive, Inc. in July of 2005 with the goal of creating a team of dedicated professionals who shared his passion in helping businesses realize the benefits of solid Interactive marketing strategies.
Mark entered the Interactive marketing arena with Lycos in February of 2000, after many years in radio, television and print advertising. From working with HotBot, Lycos, and AOL Time Warner, to his entry into the agency business in 2003, Mark has always been client-centric and is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals.
He has written a regular column for Search Engine Watch since early 2007 and is also a guest lecturer and/or has been the featured speaker/presented for a number of seminars, including those involving Wall Street analyst, the healthcare industry and retail, contributed to other publications, including Layers Magazine. In his time in the Interactive marketing space, Mark has witnessed the bubble burst, its eventual rise and trends that have come and gone. He strives to assist clients in sifting through the changing landscape and applying marketing budgets to areas which can have a direct impact on goals.
Vizion Interactive was a boot-strapped entity and Mark understands the value of each dollar that our clients have invested in our efforts. Mark insists that each member of the Vizion Interactive team abides by our core values of transparency, honesty, integrity, hard work and a partnership approach to business.
As Operations Manager, Rebecca Weichmann ensures smooth transitions from the initial sales prospect contact to the client project kick-off, is responsible for all projects running smoothly (on-time and on-budget) and keeps a close eye on P&L for the company. Rebecca has created an employee training program to ensure that all staff are up-to-date on the latest Industry trends and best practices, established internal Accounting controls, and implemented human resource policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and simple employee experience throughout all stages of employment.
Rebecca has more than 15 years’ experience in Accounting, Treasury Management and process creation and implementation. Rebecca attended UOP with her main focus in Accounting. Her previous experience in large corporate environments providers her with a solid understanding of where Vizion is headed and how to help ensure profitable/responsible growth. In her free time, she enjoys volunteer work, reading, writing and spending time with her family.
Josh McCoy, a Digital Marketing Strategist at Vizion Interactive, possesses a strong dedication and passion into the understanding and execution of successful search marketing campaigns. Deeply ingraining himself into “all things search,” Josh’s years of expertise in search marketing help him to concentrate on how to effectively harness all areas of online marketing including SEO, social media and local search to create an encapsulating approach to search engine marketing ideation as the online landscape continues to evolve.
Aside from his duties at Vizion Interactive, Josh manages the Kansas City Search Engine Marketing Association, has a monthly SEO column on Search Engine Watch and is a contributor to Search Engine Strategies Conferences and the Click Z Academy. Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas and is also a US Army combat veteran. When not working on the web, Josh enjoys golf, competition BBQ, and loves Kansas basketball only slightly less than his wife and daughter.
Jordan has been working in SEO since near it’s infancy. With a web development and design background his skill set lends to technical SEO, and also exercising creative with such skills as content marketing.
He has a history of entrepreneurship co-founding and serving positions in such companies as Internet marketing agencies Search & Social, BlueGlass, and SteelCast, a tech incubator housing several other self-started companies. His work experience ranges from in-house SEO at Overstock.com to agency-level digital marketing.
While not in front of a computer you can find Jordan snowboarding on the slopes of Utah in the winter and skateboarding the skate parks in the summer.
Ben Douglas is the Business Development Manager for Vizion Interactive. Ben has over 9 years of experience in digital marketing in a variety of roles including in-house SEO at the largest retail tax preparer in the United States (H&R Block) and Search Product Specialist at one of the largest privately held corporations in the United States (Advance Digital). Ben is a frequent speaker at the Pubcon conference in Las Vegas.
Ben uses his years of experience in Organic Search, Pay Per Click and Social Media marketing to help craft dynamic and targeted solutions for the clients of Vizion Interactive. His experience across digital campaigns of various scope and budget levels make him ideally fit to provide a solution which blends both innovation and provides positive return for a digital advertiser.
Dario studied computer programming and Oracle database design and implementation at Atlanta Technical College in Atlanta Ga. This programming background lends Dario the ability to translate very complex technical details into language that company executives can understand. Dario also attended Omniture University in Herdon, VA where his area of focus was Test & Target (T&T).
Dario believes that if we place your brand in the number 1 position in Google and you don’t sell more products, book more reservations or add new clients via your search marketing campaign, then we have not completed our job.
Dario is also an expert author at Ezine articles and various other article publication sites.
Josh joined Vizion Interactive after three years working on SEO Audits, Link Research/Analysis/Strategy, PR efforts and Video Optimization with previous agencies. He’s worked with sites of all sizes from large scale multimillion visitor sites such as G4TV and Salesforce to the local small business. In his spare time Josh likes to further his education by tinkering with other sites he owns online and reading about the current buzz in the industry.
He has attended such conferences as Blue Glass, SMX Advanced and several SEO meetups. Josh has been known to live blog these conferences and keep others updated when they can’t attend. For the past three years, he has also been a contributor to Search Engine Journal, Marketing Pilgrim as well as guest writing at numerous other publications.
Josh brings a great deal of passion to Team Vizion. When he’s involved with client projects he strives to show the same goals and desires they have and wants nothing more than to see them succeed online. To him it’s not only about increasing SERP ranking, but to see traffic increase, conversions and business revenues increase as well.
When Josh isn’t working online for clients or writing, he’s relaxing at home with his wife and two boys and their overweight furball Tiger. If he’s able to get away from the house, he’s chasing shanked golf balls across various courses in Kansas.
David Szetela supports Vizion’s Paid Search and Social Advertising programs with campaign strategy and audits. With more than a decade of experience in the industry, David is a noted PPC subject matter expert who was voted the #1 PPC resource in a poll of some 3,000 people.
David previously hosted the PPC Rockstars for Webmasterradio.fm and is on the Advisory Board for Acquisio. He is also a columnist for Search Engine Watch and Search Engine Land, industry speaker (SMX, SES, Pubcon) and a published author of two books. David is a go-to industry expert and has been referenced in numerous articles and interviews.
