Meet the Vizion Interactive Team
- Mark Jackson
Mark founded Vizion Interactive, Inc. in July of 2005 with the goal of creating a team of dedicated professionals who shared his passion in helping businesses realize the benefits of solid Interactive marketing strategies. Mark entered the Interactive marketing arena with Lycos in February of 2000, after many years in radio, television and print advertising. From working with HotBot, Lycos, and AOL Time Warner, to his entry into the agency business in 2003, Mark has always been client-centric and is dedicated to helping clients achieve their goals.
Mark is a frequent speaker at the Search Engine Strategies in New York, San Jose, Chicago and Toronto and Pubcon/ conferences in Las Vegas and Austin.
He has written a regular column for Search Engine Watch since early 2007 and is also a guest lecturer and/or has been the featured speaker/presented for a number of seminars, including those involving Wall Street analyst, the healthcare industry and retail, contributed to other publications, including Layers Magazine. In his time in the Interactive marketing space, Mark has witnessed the bubble burst, its eventual rise and trends that have come and gone. He strives to assist clients in sifting through the changing landscape and applying marketing budgets to areas which can have a direct impact on goals.
Vizion Interactive was a boot-strapped entity and Mark understands the value of each dollar that our clients have invested in our efforts. Mark insists that each member of the Vizion Interactive team abides by our core values of transparency, honesty, integrity, hard work and a partnership approach to business.
- Kim Patterson
Kim Patterson joined Vizion in December of 2007 as CFO. Kim is a Certified Public Accountant (FL) with over 15 years of Financial Management Experience. Prior to joining Vizion, Kim served as V.P., Financial Operations Officer for IFC Holdings, Inc. where she was responsible for all financial and regulatory reporting for the parent as well as its subsidiary companies. Additional responsibilities included: management of the accounting, purchasing, and commission departments, integration of accounting operations for acquisitions, and facilitating the conversion of the entire accounting system to a year 2000 compliant enterprise-wide system. She held a series 27 and series 7 license with the NASD (National Association of Securities Dealers). Additionally, she has served as an independent consultant specializing in business performance management, process improvement, and compliance.
Prior to starting her career with Ernst & Young's tax department, Kim attended the University of Florida and the University of South Florida where she was a member of Beta Alpha Psi (accounting honor society). She has a B.S. in Business Administration and M.A.C.C. Degree in Accounting with a specialization in taxation. Kim has served on the Board of Director's for the Outdoor Arts Foundation, Inc. (a 501(c)(3) corporation) as Treasurer and the Board of Director's for the Clearwater Marine Aquarium as President of Auxiliary. Kim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
- Taylor Stensrud
Taylor joined Vizion Interactive with over 10 years experience in project management, account services, operations, and sales of a variety of marketing solutions. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Taylor’s role at Vizion is to ensure all project tasks are assigned, scheduled, and delivered to achieve client expectations and goals. This includes overseeing our online project management system and implementing process and procedures to better serve our clients. He is also responsible for proactively seeking opportunities to extend our current client relationships by helping them to define future goals and actionable steps.
Taylor’s previous work history includes efforts with both a traditional ad agency and an interactive agency based in the DFW metroplex. His project experience includes web site design, interactive flash presentations, custom application development, CD/DVD replication and fulfillment services, search engine marketing, email marketing, branding campaigns, digital and commercial printing, and media buying.
- Mark Barrera
Mark Barrera is the Lead SEO for Vizion. Mark's responsibilities include overseeing all SEO projects to ensure that they are on task with our client's expectations and goals and provide strategic guidance and recommendations for projects. Mark is an officer on the board of the DFW Search Engine Marketing Association, is a member of the DFW Interactive Marketing Association and is a Google Adwords Certified Professional.
Mark previously worked as the Director of Internet Marketing and Director of Internet Services at different interactive agencies in the DFW metroplex before joining Vizion. In these roles, he created and implemented organic marketing campaigns, paid search campaigns, email marketing campaigns and consulted on web site design and usability in a very diverse group of industries. Mark Barrera has a bachelors degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas.
When not working, Mark enjoys playing soccer, running marathons, traveling, and spending time with his family.
- Zach Browne
For fifteen years Zach's been a student of Internet progression. He is an intelligent, confident, honest, and positive person with a passion for what he does and a desire to soak up new knowledge and achieve higher levels of success. When he's not looking for ways to improve the quality and ranking of our client’s websites, he's reading Matt Cutt’s blog posts and sifting through Webmaster World’s forums. He's always looking at new and creative ways to enhance brand quality and achieve higher rankings for our clients by staying up to date on all the new SEO web applications entering the cloud on a daily basis.
Zach believes in the power of great relationships, accountability and responsibility. He respects individuals who think outside the box and do what ever it takes to get the job done. He works very hard, and likes to surround himself with individuals who do the same.
His experience crosses several verticals including SEO, social media, affiliate marketing, web design, web development, systems administration, sales engineering, sales management, & believe it or not construction. He can build and optimize websites as well as a house with his bare hands as he did for himself in 2000.
Zach brings a sharp, analytical approach to his job as an SEO Analyst. His ability to spot trends, analyze data, and develop reporting processes make him an asset to Vizion Interactive.
- Brandy Eddings
Brandy acts as a client advocate at Vizion Interactive. In her role, she ensures the client’s voice is heard and their best interests are always top priority.
Bringing years of experience in search engine marketing, project management and client relations, Brandy has obtained extensive knowledge of successful strategies for a broad range of diverse industries with a strong focus on localized targeted campaigns. In addition to being a Google AdWords Certified Professional, Brandy has also completed official training from Google to be a Google AdWords Trainer.

- Bill Hartzer
Bill Hartzer manages the Search Engine Marketing and Social Media Marketing team at Vizion Interactive. Hartzer brings his vast experience in the both search engine marketing and social media marketing to bolster Vizion Interactive's already robust search engine marketing and social media marketing offerings.
Mr. Hartzer is a successful writer, blogger, search engine marketing, and social media marketing expert. Hartzer has infused Vizion Interactive with his strong enthusiasm and vision for search engine marketing, social media marketing, and search engine optimization. Together with Vizion Interactive's leaders, Mr. Hartzer is focused on developing results-oriented paid and natural search marketing and social media marketing programs to help Vizion's clients increase their online visibility, broaden their brand's reach and maximize their overall return on investment.
- Josh McCoy
Josh McCoy is a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist dedicated to the development and management of organic search marketing campaigns. His processes include increasing online traffic via search engines and the pursuit of making websites profitable through exercising Ecommerce best practices. For the past few years, he has become completely enveloped in all things “Web 2.0”. From discovering what works in social media, video, wiki, and press release optimization, to his new passion within local search optimization, Josh enjoys every aspect of interactive marketing.
Josh holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. When not working on the web, Josh enjoys golf, the outdoors, and considers himself to be the biggest Kansas basketball fan in the Midwest.
