- 2009Apr6Google Adds One Line Sitelinks to Search Results
I’m not sure if you have noticed, but Google has added expanded upon their Sitelinks feature to the search results. Several websites are reporting that this really happened over the weekend, but I actually noticed it last week. Here is what one line site links look like:
I’m crediting Barry Schwartz of SE Roundtable with coming up with the phrase “one way sitelinks”. What are they? If you look at the screen capture I show above, you will notice that there are four links right above the green URL in the search results. They appear to be taken from the normal Site links that a website has.- 2009Mar13Search Engine Optimization Tip 29: Target your Best Performing Keywords

- 2009Feb18How To Know If You Need A Dedicated Server
Ask yourself these questions and the answers just might save you thousands per month on Server costs!
What type of hosting is available?Usually, web hosts offer these types of hosting packages:
Shared Hosting – You are hosted on a server with other websites, like people on a bus (depending on your host, you shouldn’t be too cramped!).
Reseller Hosting – You are hosted on a server with other websites, but you have the ability to resell your space or more easily manage your websites separately.
Dedicated Server – You have an entire server exclusively reserved for yourself, and you have the ability to resell your space or more easily manage your websites separately. How many visitors do I have?
If you have over 20 visitors per minute you may want to start looking for a Dedicated Server. The amount of load you are putting on your Shared Hosting account may be hurting other websites on that server. Some hosts have restrictions on the amount of load your website can put on a server before they shut you off. Don’t risk that unnecessary downtime and be proactive.
How many [...]

- 2008Dec18Search Engine Optimization Tips
As you might recall, back in July, I started writing a series of search engine optimization tips. I started with search engine optimization tip number one, the title tag. Now, after 24 search engine optimization tips, I thought I would do a quick wrap-up of all of the SEO tips so you can reference what I’ve written about so far.
