Mark, although I am a computer nerd and SEO consultant, I actually got my masters in mental health (and a B.A. in Psych). I think that we are all so overrun with things to do that we didn't have to do before. Now we have PDA's to keep up, IPODs, Laptops, Software, 800 shows to record on 4 different TiVos, Email, email and EMAIL, voicemail, kids, cars, gas, bills and on top of everything we are all stressed out over the situation are world is in. War is stressful, politics are stressful, this country is stressful. Life has changed. If you look at the numbers of people that have needed medication, counseling and in-patient mental health treatment since 9-11 and compare them to the numbers before 9-11 you will be surprised. Our lives are completely different. Our brains are overly stimulated, over-stressed and worn out. This is affecting our workforce, our clients, employees and families. We all need to find areas where we can cut back on stimulation and rest a bit...just my opinion. :-)
